How much space does a platform lift need?
Platform size, guarding, approach space and landings – what to allow for.
Short answer
The AK-1 and AK-2 platform is 1100 × 1400 mm, plus room for the guide column, guarding and approach. LK-1 is built into the stairs: standard platform 1400 × 1100 mm, width reducible.
The platform is only part of it
Allow for the guide column, gates, the ramp flap and free space to approach and turn. We give exact overall dimensions in the proposal for the chosen configuration.
